Procedure for Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers require two appointments. In the first visit, the dentist will numb your teeth with a local anaesthetic, then remove some enamel and make an impression of your prepared teeth to create a mould. Then, they will send the mould to the lab. Your dentist may place temporary veneers on the teeth while the permanent ones are being designed.
At the next appointment, the dentist removes the temporary veneer and replace it with permanent veneer. Then, the dentist bonds the veneers into place using dental cement.
